1. About cookies

Cookies are small pieces of text, that are stored by the browser on your browsing device (e.g. a computer or smartphone) when you visit a website. They are widely used in order to make websites work, or work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the owners of the site. Without cookies, or some other similar method, websites would have no way to ‘remember’ anything about visitors, such as their preferences or whether they are logged in. Cookies cannot be used to look into your computer or read any personal information or other material on your hard drive. Cookies cannot carry viruses or install anything harmful on your computer.

2. How we use cookies

This site use cookies to save your preferences and to better understand how visitors use our website, which help us give you the best possible experience. In the following sections you can find the different cookies we use, their purpose and technical characteristics. We have taken special care to keep cookies to a minimum and adhere to the best practices in the industry.

First-party cookies

First-party cookies are set when you interact with our site. Your browser will only send these cookies in requests to our site.

Essential cookies

These cookies are necessary for our site to work correctly. You can block or remove these cookies through your browser settings, but if you choose to do so some features will no longer work.

Web analytics cookies

These cookies allow us to better understand how visitors interact with our website. We are currently using Google Analytics for that purpose, which requires setting the cookies below. For more information, see the section 3.6 about "Online resources" of our privacy policy.

Third-party cookies

Third-party cookies are set by a domain other than the one the user is visiting. This typically occurs when the website incorporates elements from other sites, such as images, social media plugins or advertising. When the browser or other software fetches these elements from the other sites, they can set cookies as well.

The current version of our website does not use third-party cookies.

3. Manage your cookies

You have different options to manage cookies. We provide a dashboard which allows you to change and save your preferences about non-essential cookies. Please note that if you disable a previously authorised feature, the associated cookies will no longer be accessed but may remain on your browsing device until they expire.

Alternatively, you can manually block and or delete all cookies through your browser settings (see the instructions for Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge), but if you choose to do so, some features on our site will no longer work or work in a non-optimal way.
